Foxry

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Foxry ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information through our website (foxry-studio.pages.dev) and all applications and plugins we develop and publish — including current products such as RetainPulse and Foxry Vault, as well as any future services we may offer. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Shopify Apps

When you install a Foxry Shopify app, we access certain data through the Shopify API, including:

  • Store information (store name, domain, plan)
  • Order data (order history, amounts, dates)
  • Customer data (names, email addresses, purchase history)

We only request the minimum API scopes required for each app to function.

WordPress Plugins

Our WordPress plugins (such as Foxry Vault) process data entirely on your own WordPress server. Form submission data captured by Foxry Vault is stored in your WordPress database and is never transmitted to Foxry's servers.

This Website

We do not currently use cookies, analytics tools, or any tracking technologies on this website. If we introduce analytics or cookies in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect solely to provide and improve our app functionality, including:

  • Customer segmentation and analytics
  • Generating reports and dashboards
  • Sending notifications you have configured (email, Slack)

We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Data processed by our Shopify apps is stored and processed on Cloudflare's secure global infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we follow industry best practices to protect your information.

Data Retention and Deletion

Shopify Apps

When you uninstall a Foxry Shopify app, all data associated with your store is permanently deleted from our systems.

WordPress Plugins

Since plugin data is stored on your own server, you have full control over its retention. Foxry Vault includes a configurable auto-deletion feature for GDPR compliance. When you remove the plugin, you may delete the associated data at your discretion.

Third-Party Services

Our services integrate with the following third-party providers:

  • Shopify API — to access store, order, and customer data
  • Cloudflare — for hosting, data processing, and content delivery
  • Resend — for transactional email delivery (notifications and alerts)

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and data protection practices.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Under regulations such as the GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California), you may also have additional rights including data portability and the right to object to processing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at foxry.support@gmail.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
